Libya's U.N.-supported government has requested United Nations assistance following the discovery of mass graves in territory recently recaptured from rival forces commanded by Khalifa Hifter, the U.N. said Monday.
U.N. deputy spokesman Farhan Haq said the U.N. political mission in Libya "is in communication with authorities on what kind of assistance the United Nations can offer."
