Derek Chauvin to appeal George Floyd murder conviction
Derek Chauvin, the former Minneapolis police officer given 22-1/2 years prison over the death of George Floyd, is challenging his murder conviction. Chauvin filed an intent to appeal with a Minnesota court on Thursday.
