The total number of coronavirus cases in Turkey rose to 151,615 on Tuesday with 1,022 new infections reported over the last 24 hours, Health Minister Fahrettin Koca said.
According to Koca, 28 new fatalities were recorded as well, increasing the COVID-19 death toll in the country to 4,199.
"There is an expected level of decrease in the number of new cases. The number of patients who are in need of intensive care is also decreasing," he expressed.
