The United States on Wednesday sanctioned Turkey's Justice Minister Abdulhamit Gül and Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu over the country's imprisonment of pastor Andrew Brunson. Ankara has urged Washington to respect the spirit of alliance between the two NATO countries.
