Stronger parliament in new system

During the events held at parliament to mark National Sovereignty and Children's Day, President Erdoğan and Prime Minister Yıldırım explained how Turkey's new governance system will strengthen its democracy and stability, while blocking the possibility of attacks on the people's will.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and PM Binali Yıldırım stated that the new presidential government system has further strengthened the functionality of the Turkish parliament, democracy, and stability, during the events held at parliament to mark National Sovereignty and Children's Day.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım stressed the importance of the result of 16 April referendum which reflects the will of the Turkish nation in the ballot boxes.
Meanwhile, Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan responded to questions from members of the media at parliament prior to the special session for 23 April.

The latest threat against Turkish democracy was a coup attempt on 15 July 2016. Turkish parliament was bombed and the democratic will of the Turkish nation was denied with an attempt to demolish it.

FETO terror cells , which could not achieve its aims through democratic means, tried to use illegal ways.

However, thanks to the determination of the Turkish nation and President Erdoğan, Turkey was able to overcome the actions of these treacherous terror cells.
