I will not let our pride and honour to be trampled by EU, President Erdoğan says

Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, gave a speech during TÜSİAD High Advisory Council meeting. He especially slammed European Union because of their negative attitudes towards Turkey and Turkish people.

"European Union did not open its heart and mind to us. It has been stalling Turkey for 54 year. We are not servants. We have honour and pride. Accesion articles were increased from 15 to 35. Double standards have been used against us. With European's approach it is impossible to get result. I will not let our pride and honour to be trampled by EU" said President Erdoğan in a statement.
