Turkish stock exchange up 3.3% at midweek's open
Türkiye’s BIST 100 surged 3.34% at Wednesday’s open to 13,353.43 points, rebounding sharply after Tuesday’s 1.45% drop.

Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Wednesday at 13,353.43 points, increasing sharply by 3.34% or 431.87 points from the previous close.
On Tuesday, the BIST 100 fell by 1.45% to close at 12,921.56 points, with a daily transaction volume of 145.5 billion Turkish liras ($3.26 billion).
As of 10.25 am local time (0725GMT), exchange rates stood at 44.5520 Turkish liras to the US dollar, 52.1245 to the euro, and 59.8680 to the British pound.
The price of an ounce of gold was $4,814.05, while Brent crude futures were trading at around $94.8 per barrel.
