The 'Siper' project, initiated by the Presidency of Defense Industries to meet the need for a long-range regional air and missile defense system, has come to an end.
In the statement made on ASELSAN's social media account, it was stated that 'Siper Product-1' will be made available to the Air Forces Command in 2024.
Defense Industry President Haluk Görgün pointed out that they see air defense as a matter of survival and said: "The Siper system, which currently has the most advanced technology, will undertake important tasks for our national security. We wholeheartedly congratulate the entire team working day and night for the security of the skies of our homeland.''
