West is too weak to even call for a ceasefire in Gaza, President Erdoğan says

During his speech at a meeting of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated on Thursday that Israel, which has the support of Western countries, has violated all values about humanity in Gaza Strip, saying: "These countries and organizations are so helpless that they cannot even call for a ceasefire, let alone criticize child murderers."

Speaking during an Economic Cooperation Organization meeting on Thursday, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan harshly criticized Western countries' stance against the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

''The Israeli administration, which has the full support of Western countries, continues to bomb schools, mosques, churches, hospitals, universities and civilian settlements, violating all values about humanity. We are faced with a fanaticism that justifies killing even children. Western countries, which constantly talk about human rights and freedoms and democracy, are watching all these massacres of Israel from afar.'' President Erdoğan said.

''These countries and organizations are so helpless that they cannot even call for a ceasefire, let alone criticize child murderers. Those who turn a blind eye to those who burn our holy book, the Quran, under the excuse of freedom of thought, cannot even tolerate the Palestinian flag.'' Erdoğan added.
