Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on Wednesday received Gabriela Cuevas Barron, head of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU).
Their meeting at the presidential complex was closed to the press.
Turkey's Parliament Speaker Mustafa Şentop was also present in the meeting.
The IPU is a global association of national parliaments with the goal to promote democratic governance.
