Borsa İstanbul up 0.11% at open

Turkey's benchmark stock index opened at 1,101.78 points on Monday, rising 0.11% or 1.23 points from the previous close.
At the last week's close, Borsa İstanbul's BIST 100 index was down 0.76% at 1,100.55 points, with a daily trading volume of 13.17 billion Turkish liras ($1.8 billion).
The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was unchanged at 7.3400 as of 9.30 a.m. local time (0630GMT).
The euro/Turkish lira exchange rate increased to 8.7330 from 8.7170, while one British pound traded for 9.8050 Turkish liras, down slightly from 9.8110.
One barrel of Brent crude oil sold for around $46.30 as of 10 a.m. local time (0700GMT).
