Turkish security forces "neutralized" two YPG/PKK terrorists in the country's east, the interior minister said on Wednesday.
"In addition to the three terrorists who were neutralized three days ago in the countryside of Bitlis, two more terrorists have been neutralized today. The operations are underway," Suleyman Soylu said on Twitter.
Turkish authorities often use the word "neutralize" to imply the terrorists in question surrendered or were killed or captured.
In its more than 30-year terror campaign against Turkey, the PKK -- listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the US and EU -- has been responsible for the deaths of 40,000 people, including women, children and infants. The YPG is the PKK's Syrian offshoot.
