Turkish president, opposition MHP leader meet in Ankara

Turkey's president and an opposition party leader met on Thursday in Ankara, the nation's capital, according to the presidency.
The closed-door meeting between President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) leader Devlet Bahçeli at the presidential complex lasted around 40 minutes.
Erdoğan's ruling Justice and Development (AK) Party and the MHP have worked in alliance in recent elections, and also have an alliance in Turkey's parliament.
