Turkish police seize more than 250 kg of marijuana

Turkish police seized more than 250 kilograms (551 pounds) of marijuana in Turkey's southern Adana province, police said Wednesday.
Acting on a tip, anti-drug squad of police stopped a truck in the Seyhan district.
Police search assisted with a sniffer dog in the truck revealed the smuggled drug.
Driver Danis K., 36, was remanded into custody over alleged drug trafficking charges.
