Main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) on Wednesday denied resignation claims about its party leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu.
"There is no such agenda as resignation," CHP lawmaker Bülent Tezcan said during a news briefing at the party's headquarter in capital Ankara.
The party also decided to expel Gürsel Erol, an MP-elect from the Elazığ province, eastern Turkey from the party over his call for the resignation of Kılıçdaroğlu.
