A bag full of gold worth 30,000 Turkish liras ($8,000), which was found in southeast Turkey by a hospital janitor, has been returned to the owner on Thursday.
Mehmet Zengin, 35, who works at Ergani State Hospital in Diyarbakır province, found the bag in a trashcan and handed it over to the hospital administration.
The gold was returned to its owner after an investigation, while Zengin was awarded an additional one-month salary for his honest act.
