Three members of the Arizona Cardinals organization have tested positive for COVID-19 this week, ESPN reported Thursday.
The positive tests include one player and two staff members, per the report.
The undefeated Cardinals (5-0) put star pass rusher Chandler Jones on the reserve/COVID-19 list on Tuesday due to a positive test.
Coach Kliff Kingsbury on Wednesday said that Jones, who is vaccinated, has been symptomatic and is not likely to clear COVID-19 protocols in time for Sunday's game with the host Cleveland Browns (3-2).
Under NFL protocols, any fully vaccinated player who tests positive is eligible to come off the list after two negative tests 24 hours apart and with no symptoms.
ESPN said the team is conducting "increased testing for several players and personnel." With one more positive test, the Cardinals would have to move to stricter protocols.
