Warriors' Curry out at least three months after surgery
Stephen Curry underwent surgery on his broken left hand and the Golden State Warriors say he will miss at least three months but is expected to make a full recovery. The Warriors announced Curry had undergone surgery Friday morning performed by Dr. Steven Shin at the Cedars-Sinai Kerlan-Jobe Institute in Los Angeles. An update on his progress is planned after three months.

Golden State Warriors guard Steph Curry underwent surgery on his broken left hand on Friday and could miss more than three months.
The Warriors announced Friday afternoon they would update Curry's status in three months, confirming Dr. Steven Shin performed the surgery earlier in the day in Los Angeles.
The timetable for his return potentially puts Curry back on the court around the time the NBA All-Star Game is scheduled to be played in Chicago.
Curry, a two-time MVP, left Wednesday's loss to the Phoenix Suns midway through the third quarter after landing hard on his hand on a drive into the lane that ended with a collision between Curry and Suns center Aron Baynes.
"It's been a tough start for us on many levels," head coach Steve Kerr said. "Obviously this puts us in a tough spot."
Curry, 31, is the oldest player on the Golden State roster. The Warriors have had a rash of major injuries to stars dating to the NBA Finals that ended the 2018-19 season in June.
In the past six games of consequence for the team, the Warriors have lost since-departed Kevin Durant (Achilles), Klay Thompson (left knee) and Curry (hand) to long-term injuries.
Golden State is 1-3 to start the 2019-2020 season.
"We're not a very good team," Draymond Green assessed on Wednesday.
