Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri has called on star forward Eden Hazard to decide his future sooner rather than later.

The Belgium international, whose contract expires in the summer of 2020, said in October that he dreamed of playing for Real Madrid one day.

"I don't know (if he will stay) but I think that it's time to decide," Sarri told his pre-match press conference Friday.

Hazard promised Chelsea he would not move in the January transfer window and after scoring twice in the 2-1 win at Watford on Wednesday, the 27-year-old said: "I am just focused on the pitch. I will see at the end of the season."

Hazard also said he wanted to be "a (Chelsea) legend like Frank Lampard, Didier Drogba and John Terry."

But Sarri said he does "not have the power" to solve the issue.

"I am the coach, I am not the president, I am not in charge of the market," he said. "I want to speak to him only about the position on the pitch."
