Goals in each half from Yussuf Poulsen and Lukas Klostermann earned RB Leipzig a comfortable 3-0 win over Bayer Leverkusen Sunday to go third in the Bundesliga.
Poulsen's delicate lob broke the deadlock in the 27th minute and Klostermann's calm finish sealed victory midway through the second half. Poulsen then completed his brace late on.
Leipzig are five points behind leaders Borussia Dortmund, who defeated champions Bayern Munich 3-2 on Saturday. Bayern could fall to fifth if Eintracht Frankfurt beat Schalke later.
Leverkusen are two points above the relegation play-off place in 13th but will drop a spot if Schalke avoid defeat in Frankfurt.
