Italy's Buffon says he will play last game for Juventus on Saturday
Iconic Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon announced Thursday he was leaving the club after 17 seasons and nine Serie A titles won with the Turin side.

Italy's talismanic goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon will play his last match for Juventus when they host Verona in Serie A on Saturday, he told reporters on Thursday, according to Italian media.
"Saturday will be my last game for Juventus. I think it's the best way to end this wonderful adventure," the 40-year-old said. Buffon has been at Juventus since 2001.
However, he told a news conference he was keeping his options open about whether he retires.
Buffon captained Juventus to a seventh straight Serie A title and fourth consecutive Italian Cup triumph this season.
Buffon, 40, will lift a record seventh successive league title for Juve when the season ends on Saturday. He helped Italy lift the World Cup in 2006 and holds a record of 176 caps with the Azzurri.
The former Parma goalkeeper will make his 640th and final Serie A appearance for Juventus against Verona on Saturday.
