Turkish and Qatari football bodies signed a cooperation agreement in Istanbul on Friday afternoon.

In a statement, the Turkish Football Federation said the cooperation agreement was signed by Chairman Yıldırım Demirören and Qatar Football Association Chairman Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmad al-Thani at the federation's headquarters in Istanbul's Riva.

The two football bodies vowed to work together on football-related activities ahead of the 2022 World Cup that will be held in Qatar.
