Gaza, which had its electricity and communications cut off by Israel, is currently enduring the heaviest attack it has seen in 21 days. While this humanitarian tragedy unfolds, there have been disgraceful posts made by supporters of the Israeli actions.
Israeli academic Edy Cohen made a mockery of Gaza for being without power.
On his social media account, Cohen shared an image of Gaza illuminated by Israeli bombardment and callously commented, "Officially: Gaza is now in the Stone Age. No water. No electricity. No Internet. No drugs. No food. There is no need for electricity in Gaza. 'You are always enlightened, Gaza."
Cohen's scandalous post received significant backlash on social media.
