Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has called on Turkey dialogue directly with the Syrian government.
"Turkey's legitimate security interests may be realized and satisfied through direct dialogue with the Syrian government", said Lavrov commenting on the situation around Afrin in a news conference in Moscow on Tuesday.
He also said Russia strongly stood for solving any problems, whether in Syria or anywhere else, with respect to the territorial integrity of the countries involved.
On Jan. 20, Turkey launched Operation Olive Branch to clear YPG/PKK-Daesh terrorists from Afrin.
