In Kirkuk, Iraq, a woman was electrocuted after being trapped in her home during floods caused by two days of continuous heavy rain.
According to a written statement from the Kirkuk Civil Defense Directorate, the incident occurred due to an electrical malfunction when the house was submerged in water.
The nationwide death toll from continuous heavy rains and flooding over the past two days has risen to five.
