The most popular name for babies born in Berlin in 2018 was Muhammad, according to a Language Society for Germany report Thursday.
Research found 280 babies out of 22,177 were named Muhammad. A total of 244 were named Louis and 234 Emil.
Muhammad was the second most popular name among babies in Bremen.
The most popular boy name was Paul and Marie for girls across Germany.
