UNICEF:1 million children are living on the edge of a precipice in Gaza
The United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF) has stated that in Gaza, where the healthcare system is on the verge of collapse, 1 million children are living on the edge of a precipice.

In a written statement by UNICEF, it was emphasized that the healthcare system in the entire Gaza Strip, especially in the northern region, has almost completely collapsed, posing a threat to the lives of children.
The statement highlighted that Rantisi and Nasr children's hospitals have been subjected to numerous attacks, and in these hospitals, services have not been provided outside of intensive care and pediatric intensive care units in the last 24 hours.
The statement also mentioned that other children's hospitals in the northern part of Gaza are out of service due to fuel shortages and attacks.
The statement, which included the remarks of UNICEF Middle East and North Africa Regional Director Adele Hudr, noted that the right to life of children in Gaza has been taken away.
Hudr stated, "Children in Gaza, especially those in the north, are on the edge of a precipice. There are still thousands of children in the north of Gaza. These children have nowhere to go, and they are in great danger.
We call for an immediate cessation of attacks on children's health facilities and the provision of fuel and medical supplies."
