Thousands protest in New York against Israel's ongoing Gaza genocide
The massacre by Israel in Gaza, which has been ongoing for a year, was protested in New York with the participation of thousands.

emonstrators gathered in the famous Times Square, holding banners that read, "One year of resistance against one year of genocide."
They called for an end to the genocide in Gaza and demanded a halt to Israel's attacks on Lebanon.
Tens of thousands of protesters carrying Palestinian flags chanted slogans such as, "While you shop, bombs are falling on Gaza," "Freedom for Gaza," and "Stop the genocide in Gaza."
Thousands of protesters, with drums and signs reading "Free Palestine" and "US funding genocide," marched from Times Square down New York's iconic Fifth Avenue and continued their demonstration at Washington Square Park.
A significant presence of New York Police Department (NYPD) officers was observed at the protest.
As Israel's genocide in Gaza marks its first anniversary, protests were also held in other states, including Los Angeles and Washington.
