Search continues for 38 missing after school collapse in East Java, Indonesia
Search and rescue operations are ongoing for 38 people believed to be trapped under the rubble of a collapsed school building in Indonesia's East Java province.

According to Antara News, the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) released a statement regarding the collapse of a boarding school building undergoing renovations in the town of Sidoarjo.
The statement reported that 102 people were rescued from the debris, with 91 managing to escape on their own and 11 being extracted by rescue teams.
Efforts to locate the 38 individuals still believed to be trapped continue, involving hundreds of personnel from disaster management agencies, the military, police, fire departments, and volunteers.
An investigation into the cause of the building collapse is underway. The incident, which occurred yesterday during renovations, has so far resulted in the deaths of three students.
