According to reports in the Israeli media, the far-right and racist minister used the expression, "We cannot allow women and children to approach the border, anyone approaching should get a bullet to the head."
Israeli far-right member of parliament Nissim Vaturi, who previously called for "Gaza to be burned," once again defended Israel's attacks on Gaza.
In his speech in the parliament, he used the term "terrorist" for Palestinians. He said, "Anyone who gets shot probably deserves it."
Claims have also emerged about the Israeli government's plans prior to the attacks on Rafah.
It was claimed that Israel offered to Egypt for the evacuation of Palestinians in Rafah to tent cities.
The Wall Street Journal reported that the proposal included the establishment of 15 camp areas in the southwest of the Gaza Strip, each consisting of approximately 25,000 tents.
It was emphasized that Egypt has not publicly commented on Israel's offer.
