President Erdoğan with clear lead among Turks living in Germany
With almost 98% of the ballots counted from Germany, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan garnered some two-thirds of the votes.

According to this interim figure, some 65.4% of the votes in Germany went to Erdoğan, while his main rival, opposition leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, received just 32.6%.
President Erdoğan was the candidate who received the most votes in all 17 election centers in Germany.
More than 70% of the people voted for Erdoğan in the Essen Consulate General region and Düsseldorf, Münster and Kassel regions.
Germany is home to the largest Turkish community outside of the country.
The electoral district where Erdoğan and Kılıçdaroğlu received the closest votes was the capital Berlin.
While Erdoğan received 49.2% of the votes cast in Berlin, Kılıçdaroğlu received 48.8%.
In the parliamentary elections, the majority of the citizens in Germany preferred AK Party.
While Justice and Development (AK) Party received 50.44% of the votes in Germany, Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) received 12.62% and New Welfare Party 1.11%.
CHP's vote rate in Germany was 19.24%, and IYI (Good) Party 2.79%.
Green Left Party, on the other hand, has 8.72% of the vote.
The latest figures in foreign votes for the presidential election is as follows:
- Total number of ballot boxes: 9,593
- Opened ballot boxes: 9,322 (97.18%)
- Recep Tayyip Erdoğan: 57.20%
- Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu: 39.85%
- Sinan Oğan: 1.90%
- Muharrem İnce: 1.06%
