What does Lebanon mean for the Middle East?

During the Mamluk period, Beirut was a crucial intersection of the Spice Route, the Silk Road, and Mediterranean trade routes, and under Ottoman rule, it was one of the gateways to Europe. In short, Lebanon is not just a country but the port and gateway of the Middle East to the West.
Is a major war being ignited in the Middle East?
For Israel, Lebanon is both the final stop and the first step towards its ultimate goal. The first act of the brutality that began with the genocide in Gaza will end with an intervention in Lebanon.
The Lebanese have always been allies in the Palestinians' just cause. Lebanon, one of the centers of the Palestine Liberation Organization, has always paid the price for supporting Palestinians with blood.
From the Litani Operation in 1978, Israel has attacked Lebanon five times. The fundamental reason for these attacks has always been Israel's security concerns, and international law was ignored to address these concerns.
