Turkish Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmus commented on Israeli President Netanyahu's address to the Congress in Washington, D.C. "A crowd on its feet, 'applauding' a war criminal judged in international courts, disregarding human rights, democracy, and whatever is left of justice… This crowd will forever be remembered as accomplices in the massacre of Palestinians. Shame on you!" he said.

Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz stated, "The courtesy shown in the U.S. Congress to a president accused of genocide by the International Court of Justice is disgraceful. The implications of this are concerning in regard to human rights, international law, and the future of democracy."

Yilmaz ended his remarks by saying, "We rely on the conscience of humanity and the power of truth in the face of lobbies and lies.
