Politico focused on Erdoğan's criticism of Netanyahu, using his quote, "Just as Hitler was stopped 70 years ago, Netanyahu must be stopped today," as the headline.
German newspapers also emphasized Erdoğan's comparison of Netanyahu to Hitler. Die Welt reported that Erdoğan told UN member states, "Israel is committing genocide." It also quoted him saying, "Netanyahu should be stopped like Hitler."
