Gifted with the ability to paint since childhood, Merah now tries to create under very difficult conditions in a school that has been converted into a shelter.
With art supplies almost nonexistent in Gaza, the young woman nevertheless hangs her works on the walls of the tent where she is staying.
She says she has tried many times to hold an exhibition in Gaza or abroad, but so far has not succeeded.
