American singers Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift attended a comedy show in the Brooklyn area, the proceeds of which will be donated to provide humanitarian aid to Gaza.

According to news reports in the U.S., Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift attended comedian Ramy Youssef's show in Brooklyn.
Actors Cara Delevingne, Anna Taylor Joy, and Zoe Kravitz also watched the comedy show, the proceeds of which will be donated for humanitarian aid to Gaza.
Ramy Youssef, an Egyptian-American comedian, announced on the Instagram social media platform that the proceeds from his shows between November 3, 2023, and February 2, 2024, would be donated to the civil society organization "American Near East Refugee Aid (ANERA)" to provide humanitarian aid to Gaza.
Selena Gomez, in an Instagram post addressing Israel's attacks on Gaza, used the following expressions: "We must protect all people, especially children, and put an end to violence completely. I'm sorry that my words or a hashtag will never be enough for anyone. I can't bear to see innocent people suffer. It sickens me. I wish I could change the world, but a post won't change anything."
After expressing support for UNICEF's donation campaign for aid following the start of the Russia-Ukraine War, Gomez's use of the phrase "A post won't change (the world)" regarding Gaza sparked reactions on social media.
Following the reactions, it was announced on Gomez's cosmetics brand "Rare Beauty"'s Instagram account that donations would be made for Gaza.
