Demonstrators, among them Swedish environmental activist Greta Thunberg, demanded an end to the war in Gaza, accountability for Israeli war crimes and an end to German arms deliveries to Israel.
The crowd, consisting mainly of young men and women, gathered in the Kreuzberg district, waving Palestinian flags and holding banners in support of Palestinians.
They also chanted: "Viva, viva Palestine" and "Free, free Palestine."
A large poster read: "One genocide does not justify another."
Demonstrators reiterated Palestinians' right to resist Israeli occupation, saying "surrender is never an option."
"We do not apologize for Palestinian resistance, their resistance is our hope. It is our promise," according to a statement.
It added that the start of the Gaza war on Oct. 7, 2023, was "the inevitable answer to a century of dispossession, siege, ethnic cleansing and genocide."
The death toll in the Gaza war exceeds 74,000, equivalent to 3.4% of the enclave's estimated prewar population.
Gaza's Health Ministry reported 74,237 deaths and 175,206 injuries as of Oct. 4, 2026.
