''We will begin flying production prototypes and versions of KIZILELMA within 1-2 months''
Selçuk Bayraktar, speaking at the Health Sciences and Technology Summit held at Bezmialem Vakıf University, gave a presentation on the development process of Baykar's national UAVs.

Bayraktar highlighted the significant contributions of Bayraktar AKINCI in the search operations following the helicopter crash that resulted in the death of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and other officials, noting that AKINCI made its first flight in 2019.
He emphasized, "Under the most adverse conditions, in the most challenging environments, Turkish engineers and young people developed unmanned aerial vehicles that reached places previously inaccessible and completed critical missions."
Bayraktar drew attention to Baykar's achievements over 15 years, developing the world's number one unmanned aerial vehicles in their class.
"Bayraktar TB2 became the UAV exported to the most countries in the world, delivering the highest performance at the lowest cost," he said.
Bayraktar noted that all projects at Baykar are developed with their own resources, adding:
"Such a technology company, both in Türkiye and globally, is rare. This is something you would typically see in firms that make significant innovations. Even in the world's technology monopolies, it is rare. Bayraktar KIZILELMA made its first flight approximately a year ahead of our promise to the nation in 2022.
"KIZILELMA represents a significant milestone in global aviation. We will start flying production prototypes and versions within 1-2 months. This year, we will produce 3 units of KIZILELMA, and in the following years, we will transition to higher volume mass production. Currently, the final integration work is ongoing." Bayraktar stated.
