Türkiye’s projects including Togg, Anka-3, and KAAN leave a mark on 2023
The year 2023, marking the completion of the 100th year of the Republic of Türkiye, was a year of great advancements in every domain. In defense industry, transportation, export, technology, and economic initiatives, remarkable works were introduced, enhancing Türkiye's strength.

The 60-year-old dream of a domestic car became a reality with the first delivery of Togg. The first UAV ship, TCG Anadolu, was launched into the sea. The Black Sea natural gas met with the land in Filyos.
EXPORT RECORD
Türkiye had an important year in terms of exports in 2023. According to the Exporters' Assembly data, the sector that raised the export record to $4.4 billion last year reached $4.8 billion as of November.

TOGG
On April 3, 2023, the first delivery of our domestic and national car, Togg, was made to President Erdoğan.
TCG ANADOLU
On April 10, 2023, the world's first UAV ship and Türkiye's largest military ship, TCG Anadolu, began its duty.
IMECE
On April 15, 2023, IMECE, the first domestically and nationally developed observation satellite with a resolution below one meter, was launched into space.
ELECTRIC LOCOMOTIVE
On April 19, the E5000 type electric locomotive, developed with local and national capabilities at Türkiye Rail System Vehicles Industry Inc.'s (TÜRASAŞ) Eskişehir factory, was ceremonially placed on the rails.
KAAN
On May 1st, Turkey's National Combat Aircraft KAAN took to the runway for the first time at TUSAŞ's campus in Ankara.
6NEW GENERATION ALTAY TANK
On April 23, the New Generation Altay Tank was delivered to the Turkish Armed Forces with the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
UNMANNED COMBAT AIRCRAFT ANKA-3
On December 28, the unmanned combat aircraft Anka-3, developed by TUSAŞ, successfully completed its first flight.
HISTORIC STEPS IN ENERGY
NUCLEAR
On April 27, with the arrival of the first fresh nuclear fuel, the Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) achieved "nuclear facility" status.
NATURAL GAS
On April 20, the Black Sea natural gas was brought ashore in Filyos with a ceremony attended by President Erdoğan.
OIL
On May 2, President Erdoğan announced at a mass opening ceremony in Konya that a 2,600-meter-deep oil reserve with a daily production capacity of 180,000 barrels was found 20 kilometers from Cudi in Gabar.
