In addition, Erdoğan met with Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud as well as with Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa.

The Turkish president urged the global community to raise its voice to ensure uninterrupted access to humanitarian aid for Palestine, stressing the worsening humanitarian situation in Gaza, which has been under Israel's attack for almost two years, in a meeting with his Somali counterpart.

Erdoğan told Hassan Sheikh Mohamud that stepping up sanctions against Israel is important, as economic measures will yield results in the meeting.

During the meeting, the two leaders also discussed bilateral relations between Türkiye and Somalia, as well as regional and global developments.

President Erdoğan also noted that cooperation between Türkiye and Somalia is advancing steadily and that Ankara's support for Somalia will continue to grow.

Türkiye will continue to stand by countries targeted by Israeli aggression, Erdoğan vowed in his meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

Calling Israel's expansion of its aggression "unacceptable," President Erdoğan urged Tel Aviv to be held accountable before the law for its actions in the meeting.

Erdoğan also expressed Ankara's determination in efforts to achieve an urgent ceasefire in Gaza and deliver humanitarian aid.

The two leaders also discuss ties between the two nations, as well as regional and global issues.

Meeting with his Syrian counterpart, Erdoğan highlighted the importance of preserving Syria's unity and solidarity as well as the SDF fulfilling its deal with Damascus made on March 10.

Erdoğan said that Ankara's support to Damascus will continue and called President Ahmad al-Sharaa's attendance at this year's UN General Assembly "historically significant."

Erdoğan also stated that efforts are being made to develop bilateral relations. Türkiye is also following steps to bring together different groups in Syria, he said.
