"TEKNOFEST Istanbul" opens its doors to visitors
Having welcomed nearly 11 million visitors so far, the festival blends with Istanbul's historic texture and cultural richness, offering millions an exciting experience of science, technology, and innovation.

TEKNOFEST Board Chairman Selçuk Bayraktar gave the opening speech:
"Welcome to this arena where history, with roots reaching the skies, is being rewritten—welcome to TEKNOFEST. TEKNOFEST is our passion to fly under our own sky dome with our own wings. This year, we extended beyond borders to our brother country first. We embraced 270,000 visitors at the largest open-air event in TRNC's history. At TEKNOFEST Mavi Vatan, we hosted hundreds of thousands at the Istanbul Shipyard. Now, we are at Atatürk Airport."
TEKNOFEST Istanbul, which stands out with competition categories supporting technological development in critical fields, will host contests in 58 main and 137 subcategories. Teams that pass the preliminary rounds will benefit from over 85 million TL in financial support, while the winners will share more than 65 million TL in total prizes. Inspired by the heart of technology, more than 565,000 teams and 1.1 million participants applied to turn their dreams into reality in the technology competitions held as part of TEKNOFEST Istanbul.
Through these contests across 58 main and 137 subcategories, the festival will showcase innovative ideas and bring together students, entrepreneurs, and technology enthusiasts who will shape the future of science and technology.
