To examine the results of this significant project on-site, Forest Regional Director Mahmut Yılmaz and Kozan Forest Management Director Onur Leylek visited the area.
The inspection, within the framework of youth and culture care activities, encompasses pest protection, removal of damaged trees, weed removal, and hoeing in areas where danger of suffocation is prevented.
Director Yılmaz stated that the burnt areas were rapidly reforested, emphasizing the meticulous efforts to nurture young saplings.
Yılmaz said, "These meaningful efforts not only contribute to the environment but also aim to leave a hopeful living space for future generations. Reforestation is just one part of the important steps taken to bring life back to the areas that were burnt after the fire."
