One out of every two electric cars sold in January was Togg: Report
According to data compiled by the Automotive Distributors and Mobility Association (ODMD), vehicle sales of automobiles and light commercial vehicles increased by 56.6 percent last month compared to the same period in 2023, reaching 79,701.

During this period, car sales increased by 71.7 percent to 64,041 units, while light commercial vehicle sales rose by 15.1 percent to 15,660 units.
These figures have been recorded as the highest January sales data of all time.
According to ODMD data, the number of brands selling at least one electric model in Türkiye increased from one in 2012 to 27 in October 2023.
The rise of Togg among electric car brands continued in January as well. Togg remained in the top position in the market last month with 1625 units sold.
Thus, one out of every two electric cars sold in the electric car market was a Togg.
Togg was followed by Mercedes-Benz with 260 units sold, BMW with 228 sales, Tesla with 220, and BYD with 155 units.
On the other hand, when looked at on a model-by-model basis, the Togg T10X was the best-selling model, followed by the Tesla Model Y in second place, the BMW 5 Series in third place, the BYD Atto 3 in fourth place, and the Mercedes-Benz EQB as the fifth best-selling model.
