Images of Adıyaman before and after quake show extent of destruction
In Türkiye's Adıyaman, which was affected by the "disaster of the century", aerial images taken on the busy streets of the city before and after the earthquake revealed the extent of the destruction.

Due to the earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş on February 6, many buildings were destroyed in the city center and on Atatürk Boulevard.
Earthquakes, which caused the death of many citizens throughout Adıyaman, turned houses and workplaces into wrecks in Sümer Square, Atatürk Boulevard, Clock Tower and Hospital Street.
The historical Ulu Mosque, which was built during the Dulkadiroğulları Principality and is one of the oldest mosques in the city, was also damaged in the earthquake.
Adıyaman Castle, which is one of the symbols of the city, and the houses and workplaces on the sides of the area with Adıyaman writing were completely destroyed.
In the city, where the wounds caused by the earthquake are tried to be healed quickly, the debris removal works continue.
