Fields divided into two in Kahramanmaraş, showing severity of quake
Fractures and splits on the kilometers-long fault in Türkiye's Kahramanmaraş were imaged with a drone, after major twin earthquakes that hit the region on February 6.

It was also observed that the fields on the broken fault line were divided into two, revealing the intensity of the earthquake once again.
While many people lost their lives due to the earthquake, the epicenter of which was Kahramanmaraş, affecting also 9 other provinces, thousands of buildings were also destroyed.
As the region shook like a cradle, the cinematographer Muhammet Kösem, who made an earthquake documentary, also viewed the fault line stretching for kilometers in Kahramanmaraş from the air.
While the horrors of the earthquake were revealed with the images, it is also reflected in the drone camera that the fields are divided into two with the breaking of the fault line.
