The newspaper emphasized that the crash site was identified thanks to the thermal sensors on the AKINCI.
It stated, "Iran may be producing cheap unmanned aerial vehicles for Russia, but Turkey is a world leader in this field."
The report also noted that there was heavy fog and strong winds at the crash site on the night of the accident.
It was mentioned that the AKINCI, owned by Baykar, can ascend to an altitude of 12 kilometers and remain airborne for up to 24 hours even in adverse weather conditions.
Neue Zürcher Zeitung highlighted the high demand for Turkish UAVs in the international market, noting that Baykar has sold its products to more than 30 countries.
