TAI unveils full-scale model of T925 Utility Helicopter at Paris Air Show for first time
Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) is showcasing the full-scale model of the T925 Utility Helicopter, marked with the tail number "TC-925," for the first time at the Paris Air Show.

TAI's participation in the event includes a wide range of products such as ANKA, AKSUNGUR, T929 Attack Helicopter, T925 Utility Helicopter, and Unmanned Cargo Helicopter, all of which are displayed in the static area with their respective models.
The T925 Utility Helicopter, which has been under development for some time, is presented as an exact-measured model, also known as a mock-up.
The helicopter's striking features include its red-white paint, pointed nose, and overall grandeur.
TAI has taken a unique approach by developing the T625 GÖKBEY helicopter with a transmission derived from the T129 ATAK and utilizing the same engines.
A similar strategy was applied to the T925 project, resulting in the design of an 11-ton utility helicopter with the transmission and engine system of the T929, also known as ATAK-2.
This design is referred to as the T925, with a production target set for completion in 2024 and the first flight to be realized thereafter.
Previously, TAI General Manager Temel Kotil announced that the T925's first flight would take place on March 18, 2024.
The T925 utility helicopter boasts a passenger capacity of 21 individuals, surpassing the inventory of the Turkish Armed Forces' S-70 Blackhawk or AS532 Cougar helicopters in terms of capacity.
To facilitate the quick loading of personnel and materials, the helicopter features a ramp system at the rear of the fuselage. The cargo compartment is designed to accommodate the T925's cannon and military vehicles.
The T925 helicopter will incorporate an enhanced version of the avionics systems found in the GÖKBEY helicopter.
Sharing components with the GÖKBEY will provide advantages in terms of development, production, maintenance, and repair processes, both during and after delivery.
