'Zombie fly' wins nature photography contest: Here are highlights
The "zombie fungus fly", overall winner of the BMC's contest of nature photography of 2022, taken by Roberto García-Roa, shows the fruiting body of a parasitic fungus, erupting from its victim's body, making for amazing yet dreadful scenery.
