Nature photographers turn partial eclipse into fun with 'shadow play'
Nature photographers who wanted to shoot the partial lunar eclipse in Türkiye's Van, where the moon appeared in copper color, turned that moment into fun with the shots they took.

The first partial lunar eclipse of 2023 was observed in the skies of Van, and the eclipse, one of the exciting sky events, created mesmerising images. The moon, which is 382 thousand kilometers from the earth, also created beautiful images in the skies of Van.
Nature photographer Reşit Öner, who shot the eclipse in a rural area with low light in the central Edremit district of Van, created impressive landscapes with the silhouettes he projected on the moon with the help of his teammates.
The images of a fairy and witch characters reflected on the moon reminded of shadow plays.
