Archaeologists discover 3,800-Year-Old ancient city in Peru
The city was unearthed after eight years of excavation work led by the Ministry of Culture.

The discovery of the city took place as part of efforts to understand the earliest pre-Hispanic trade networks after the Sacred City of Caral, considered the oldest settlement in the Americas.
The area contains large and small structures, residential complexes, and ceremonial temples.
